About this guide

KabukiTickets.com is an independent guide to kabuki tickets in Japan: seats at Kabuki-za in Ginza, single-act tickets, the other kabuki theatres in Tokyo and Kyoto, and the shows and workshops around kabuki, such as Asakusa's popular theatre, noh, samurai arts and kabuki music. We are not a theatre, Shochiku or GetYourGuide: the site name describes what we write about.

Facts here are checked against official and primary sources (the Kabuki Official Website and Kabuki Bito run by Shochiku, the Kabuki-za site, the Agency for Cultural Affairs, JNTO and UNESCO) and the ticket and tour listings on GetYourGuide, including recent guest reviews. Programmes, prices and seat plans change every month; when a listing and this page disagree, the listing at checkout wins.
